Services We Offer
At Munro’s Maintenance, we specialise in putting together all-year-round regular garden/ground maintenance proposals to suit every specific set of circumstances. Whether you are a local business that has large grounds that needs kept on top of, or simply a local resident that needs their grass cut on a regular basis, we can cater to all. We currently provide regular maintenance to hundreds of different business’s and individuals based in and around the Dumbarton and Helensburgh area. All it takes for you to do, is to contact us via our email/number on the ‘contact’ tab above and let us know what sort of services you are looking for. From there, we will visit the location that needs maintained, to discuss all the things that are needing done. All that is left to do is for us to send over a detailed proposal breaking down the frequency of visits, the work that will be done and most importantly, the costs. We try make this process as streamlined and clear as possible to ensure that we meet all the needs that you have. We pride ourselves on keeping great communication so you always know when we are coming and going and we make the payment process very easy by having automated invoices sent out that can be paid by a simple bank transfer. Grass Cutting:
Regular Grass cutting is done on a two week basis. This is where we come round to strim and cut the grass, finishing with a tidy up blow of surrounding areas of lawn. We also offer 3 weekly cuts and one-off cuts of overgrown areas. Of course we give all customers the options of having the grass taken away, lawn being edged up, strim only, and any other specific requests can be discussed during quotation. Our grass cutting season begins at the start of April with the final cuts being done at the end of October.
Hedge Cutting:
We really pride ourselves in being some of the best in the area for taking care of hedges and ensuring they look sharp. We specialise in topiary shaping and correcting the lines of shrubs and hedges to ensure they grow in properly and remain healthy over time. We are equipped with some of the best equipment you can get, paired with the largest sets of ladders on sale, to ensure we can cater to every size and shape. We of course do hedge reductions and ensure that we always leave the job clean and tidy, with all the waste being taken away and properly disposed of. We usually do annual cutbacks for most folks, but of course can discuss different frequency options to suit those people who like their hedges looking sharp all year round.
Hard Standing Spraying:
A regular herbicide spray applied 3x per to keep your hard standing areas clear and free of weeds. The herbicide mix is carefully applied to avoid over-spray and damage to surrounding plant life. The mix targets all varieties of perrenial and annual weeds generally found plaguing pathways and hard landscaped areas.
Powerwashing:
We can also take care of all your hard standing areas in the garden with our powerwashing service. This is usually a one-off service but we can also book it in to be done on an annual basis or every couple of years. We are equipped to clean any surfaces you have such as slabbed areas, monoblock, decking, composite, brick walls, artificial grass etc. To ensure the best finish is achieved, we carefully select particular cleaning chemicals where necessary to ensure even the toughest stains can be removed. Once the cleaning process is finished, we ensure everything is left tidy and any extra steps such as resanding monoblock is done.
Garden Clean Ups:
This encompasses everything involved in getting the garden back to manageable maintenance levels. We can combine all of our services listed above into a one-off job where we come in and get the property back to its former glory. We have done many of these for folks who are selling/buying properties where the grounds have been left to get out of shape and the owners need a team that can come in and efficiently get the place up to scratch. Being that we cover most aspects of outdoor maintenance, it means we are equipped to effectively get the job done in a timely manner and can keep costs lower due to our efficiency of work. Once the property is back up to scratch, recommendations for a regular maintenance schedule can be given to ensure that future large maintenance bills can be avoided.
