My name is Conor Munro and I own Munro’s Maintenace. A garden and grounds maintenance business that operates in Dumbartonshire and the whole of Helensburgh peninsula.

The back story of how my business came to be, started by back in late 2021 after some years of working for other landscaping/maintenance companies. During my time at these companies, I grew evermore frustrated with the way things were run and how people got treated by managers and the folks in charge. After spending years of my life working hard and not feeling like I was getting treated fairly, I decided to start my own venture. Planning commenced over the Winter of 2021, figuring out all the tools I needed to get started, how I was going to get customers, how I was going to run things, how I was just going to make this a reality. After months of thought/planning, I finally pulled the trigger and sunk all I had into getting a van and all the tools I neeeded to just get going. Of course the first couple of years came with plenty of speed bumps and massive learning curves to adapt to. Thankfully, I managed to push through and build up a business that has now done thousands of jobs and worked for hundreds of customers.

Fast forward to today, now I am an employer with a fantastic employee in Brodie, who joined at the end of 2023. Him and I make a fantastic team and he is one of the main reasons for the business’ growth in the past year. Since joining he has played a big role in getting the Youtube channel up and going, consistently making/editing regular videos following the business on a day to day basis for people to view. Going forward, I only see things growing and the team expanding so that we are able to keep up with the needs of our regular customers who have graciously trusted us to keep their garden looking fantastic all year round. My main goal is to build a business that is a great place to work and provides my local area with reliable, high quality garden maintenance services that caters to everyones specific needs. I absolutely love what I do and improving our operations is what makes me tick.
